Rod's concert was like being in Las Vegas
"Maddy Kelly's concert was amazing, and I was really impressed with her professionalism and stage performance. Her band was very respectful, and I liked that she included the SF symphony as part of her show. The visual effects were some of the best I have seen so far at the Denny Sanford Center. Would definitely see her again.
The beverage/snack bar area was very unorganized for this event. Waited in line for 30 min, and there were very upset people because things were not moving quickly. Seemed to be a bottle neck problem. Our seats were on the floor, and we only had one place to go to the restroom and to get food and beverages. This area has not been planned or organized very well, so need to review and staff accordingly.
The sound was HORRIBLE at a concert the night before, and I have experienced this a lot at the Denny Sanford Center. If I did not know what songs the bands were singing, you did not hear them. The ONLY exception has been Maddy Kelly and the EAGLES, so not sure if it is the band's sound system or Denny center. But the base is too loud, and the sound is horrible if you are not on the floor or in a seat close up front.
Seating - Stepping on toes and spilling to get out to go to the restroom and get more beverages. The seats on the floor need to be moved farther apart in width and length. Too packed in, people sitting on top of each other. Very difficult to sit and be comfortable. The view was great, and the sound was great for this concert."
